The potential users of an energy efficient public street lighting will be citizens of the municipalities, students, professors, and university employees and all people coming to or from the university campuses.

The installed street lighting will work depending on the environment conditions. The set of embedded sensors measures ambient light, temperature, current, and detect motion.

The core element of intelligent street lighting is dimming. Active dimming of lamps depends on sensors detected motion or other parameters (pedestrian or car passing by for example). The lighting is increased instantaneously to provide the best and the most comfortable lightning during the time it is necessary. The lightning intensity will be reduced to threshold level when there will not be people or cars passing.
